Maca Booking Engine
A full-stack case study showing how a custom booking engine replaced the limitations of generic third-party booking tools.
Mirael3D ran a growing WooCommerce store for 3D-printing filament and hardware across two legacy domains. We consolidated everything onto www.mirael3d.sk, hardened the B2B checkout, and built the Slovak-language content engine driving its long-term search visibility.
Mirael3D’s store had grown across mirael.sk and 3d.mirael.sk. Consolidating them meant touching checkout, hosting, and every indexed URL at once — with no room to lose existing rankings along the way.
Migrate the WooCommerce store to www.mirael3d.sk without breaking checkout, search, or existing rankings
Add server-side VAT validation to the B2B checkout, on top of existing tax logic
Rebuild the header and product search to feel native to the Mirael3D brand
Preserve and grow organic visibility in the Slovak market through a structured content program
Structure that content for AI answer engines, not just traditional search results
Leave a clean runway for the next market: Austria

Every change was built and tested on an isolated environment first, with its own database and search indexing switched off — then promoted, never improvised, into production.
Files, theme, plugins, uploads, and a complete database export of the live site, taken before any work began.
A dedicated environment and fresh database at staging.mirael3d.sk, indexing disabled, SFTP-only access.
Header, navigation, product search, and homepage confirmed live before any legacy traffic was redirected.
Both legacy domains 301-redirect to www.mirael3d.sk, preserving each original URL path.
Four pieces of custom development, each shipped server-side and tested in staging before going live.
Company buyers’ VAT IDs are validated server-side and cross-checked against billing details in real time — classified as exact, similar, mismatch, or unavailable — with checkout blocked automatically on a mismatch.

A continuous Slovak-language content program built on three pillars, with every article following the same locked structure.
In-depth articles on filament materials and 3D-printing technique, each with an intro, comparison sections, a benchmarking table, common mistakes, objection handling, an FAQ, and a call to action.
Content topics prioritized from Semrush-driven gap analysis, targeting the exact queries competitors already rank for and Mirael3D doesn’t yet.
Ongoing Google Business Profile activity — reviews and posts — reinforcing local search relevance alongside the content program.
Every article is structured so generative answer engines can extract and cite it directly. A duplicate schema conflict was also resolved by removing manually embedded JSON-LD and letting Rank Math own Article schema globally — clearing every related structured-data error in Search Console.

Google Search Console was moved via a formal Change of Address request on July 5, 2026, with the sitemap resubmitted and accepted on the new property. Both properties stay monitored through the standard two-to-six-week indexing transfer window.
The same questions this migration was built to answer — structured for readers and answer engines alike.
Build and test the entire store on a private staging environment first, with indexing disabled. Once verified, point production at the tested build, 301-redirect every legacy URL to its matching new path, then request a Change of Address in Google Search Console and resubmit the sitemap so indexing signals transfer instead of resetting.
It’s a formal request telling Google a verified site has permanently moved domains. Paired with valid 301 redirects, it helps carry over rankings, crawl history, and indexing rather than making the new domain build authority from zero.
When a business buyer enters a VAT ID, a server-side call validates it and compares the registered company name and address against what was entered. The result is classified as an exact match, similar, mismatch, or unavailable — and checkout can block automatically on a mismatch.
AEO structures content so AI answer engines — Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, Gemini — can extract and cite it directly, not just rank it. That means direct answers up top, comparison tables, FAQs, and clean schema markup, so the brand becomes the cited source.
Google typically needs two to six weeks to fully recrawl redirected URLs and reflect the change in rankings, even with correct redirects and Search Console signals from day one. That window is spent actively monitoring both properties to confirm the transfer.
We handle the migration, the integrations, and the content strategy that keeps rankings intact and growing.
