The Account Executive is responsible for achieving quota targets selling Minerva Visuals transformational CDP (cloud data platform) and MA (Marketing Automation) services to large web businesses. The Account Executive will source and initiate contact with prospects, identify customer needs, and develop and present proposals of Minerva Visuals solutions. We are seeking proven high performers to over-achieve sales objectives and establish long-term relationships within assigned regions/named accounts.
At Minerva Visuals, account executive’s primary responsibility is to support an organization’s client accounts. They’re generally the first or second person within an organization to handle the account, possibly after the front-line SDRs (Sales development representatives). They’re often responsible for closing deals once a lead has been qualified and nurtured by a SDR (Sales Development Representatives).Once they’ve made contact, it’s up to the account executive to manage that account by:
Building the relationship.
Identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
Producing/Handling SOWs (Scope of work) documents.
Drive revenue growth with new and existing customers. Consistently achieve revenue growth and exceed quarterly revenue targets.
Initiates sales process by prospecting, scheduling appointments, making initial presentation, understanding business needs, developing proposals, closing deals.
Manage the territory and drive pipeline with new account acquisition and up/cross sell Minerva Visuals services.
Collaborate with best-in-class supporting team of Solution Consultants, Account Managers, Sales Development, Field Marketing, etc in pursuit of revenue goals.
BA/BS degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 experience selling revenue-generating software solutions to e-commerce (preferred) or other web-businesses; ideally traffic-driving solutions to marketing department and to Business Development decision makers.
Proven history of significantly exceeding quota for 2+ consecutive years, with price points equivalent to and exceeding $100,000/year
Experience selling new, innovative products.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be innovative and resourceful in evolving sales methods to optimize new product success.
Demonstrated success at territory management and ability to prioritize among a high volume of opportunities to optimize quarterly bookings.
Comfort in high energy, hard-working, close-knit team environment required. Prefer prior successful experience in start-ups.
Willingness to travel.
